Our 2018 Oldfield Reserve Chardonnay was fermented in new French Oak barriques using only natural yeasts. Once fermentation was complete, the barriques received battonage, or stirring of the lees to increase texture and creamy mouth feel. The wine was barrel aged for a further 16 months prior to bottling. This Chardonnay has lovely tropical fruit aromas and vanilla spice. Creamy texture with flavours of lemon peel, hints of toasted almond and a nice long citrus fruit finish on the palate.
