Tasting Notes
The nose opens with vibrant aromas of ripe pear, crisp apple, and lemon zest, complemented by subtle notes of toasted hazelnut, vanilla, and wet stone. The palate is both textured and precise, balancing bright acidity with a gentle creaminess with layers of orchard fruit and mineral complexity carry through to a long finish.
Vintage Notes
The 2024 growing season in the Willamette Valley was characterized by relatively mild spring with timely rainfall, which supported healthy vine growth. The summer was warm but not excessively hot, allowing for steady and balanced ripening across vineyards. Cooler-than-average nights helped preserve acidity and freshness in the grapes. Some late-season rainfall posed minor challenges near harvest, but overall the conditions were favourable.
