This cab dominant blend of 5 bordeaux grapes is a beautifully executed deep delicious red and purple berry fruit filled palate fulfilling well balanced example of how wonderful the keystone wineries of the okanagan can turn lovelingly tended vinyards' fruits into fabulous wines. This wine ticks all the boxes and is ready to be enjoyed and wow you now, with a bit of decanting or time in your glass...it keeps opening and evolving in your glass as the temperature allows it to open. Each sip seems to improve as this well crafted and somewhat tight at the outset wine opens and provides its waves of smooth silky tanins and opening flavours of blackberry, raspberry, licorice, mocca and rose. The enduring finish will remind you of crush time in the Okanagan. A very worthy effort from a very warm year that produced rich dark fruits in the vinyards.
