Our 2018 Oldfield Reserve Cabernet Franc is crafted using fruit from our highest elevation vineyard, located on the Black Sage Bench.
These grapes are partially crushed, leaving some whole berries then allowed to ferment naturally in stainless steel tanks. This process of fermentation allows for gentle extraction of colour, tannin and flavour. Our wine is then racked to French and Hungarian oak barrels, ageing for a period of 18 months.
A beautiful ruby red colour, with rich aromas of baked cherry pie, plum jam, crushed raspberries, cinnamon and spices.
