This dark, captivating Cabernet Franc has aromas of oak with hints of chocolate. Oak, raspberry, and blackberry flavours combine with well structured tannin and crisp acidity to produce a long, smooth finish.

After the grapes were crushed and sent to stainless tanks they were cold soaked on their skins for 3 days prior to the yeast being added. Once fermented to dry, the wine was pressed and allowed to settle before being put into a combination of 2 to 4 year old American oak barrels. The wine was racked twice while in barrels. After 13 months, it was taken out of oak and blended before bottling in April 2007.
